Upstate Republicans are pissed off - and why it matters
Fifteen months ago, State Sen. Roy McDonald dropped the f-bomb heard ‘round the state, which shook the windows and rattled the walls of conservative voters.
“F--- it,” McDonald told reporters following the vote in June 2011, in support of the Marriage Equality Act, which helped legalize same-sex weddings in New York. “I'm trying to do the right thing. I'm tired of Republican-Democrat politics. They can take the job and shove it.”
